What to expect.... the process
Before your shoot...
The first step, whether you get in touch with me, be it instagram, email or verbally,
is to complete an online booking form. This collects all the bits of info I need all in one place in an easy form for you.
I will then be in touch to confirm details such as dates. timings, and locations.
I cannot always guarantee that you get your exact date and time but you'll be allocated a time and date as close as possible to your requested info.

You'll then receive a confirmation email and deposit invoice to secure your booking.
I will send a wee reminder on the week of the shoot to confirm we're all still ok.
On the day ...
I'll meet you at our pre-arranged location at the time we've set, and we'll go for a wee walk together. Keeping moving is key, it's as simple as that!
Every now and then we'll stop and get some more composed photos, but my lifestyle approach is just to capture you guys being YOURSELVES! Talk to eachother, mach the other laugh, walk away holding hands.... it may not seem like much but these tips capture some lovely candid feeling moments!

TIMINGS: Please arrive 5 minutes early and allow time at the end if we run over.
The shoots can run up to and rarely longer than the duration stated above.
If i feel we have got what we need sooner, then we may finish up quicker. Similarly if toddlers/weather isn't playing ball we can sometimes run over
OTHER USEFUL BITS: Social distancing must still be adhered to during the shoot.
Please have warm clothes easy to hand for children (and for yourselves) to throw on between shots if we start to get cold. In the past, this has resulted in fewer tears and has allowed us to get those few extra pictures :)
After your shoot...
You will receive a beautiful online gallery with your images approximately 2 weeks after your shoot.
For events, PR and this turnaround can be immediately
In the summer this is sometimes longer depending on my workload at the time.

You will then be able to choose the images you'd like to get printed as part of your package. These get ordered in bulk when i have several client orders to place, so turnaround varies from 2 to 4 weeks, however I aim to get your prints back to you within a month from when you give me your print choices.
You can also share your image galleries with friends and family using a unique link, and there is a gallery shop that links directly with my printing company for you to order more prints in other sizes.
